About Me

Courtney Anne Holcomb is a Neenah Wisconsin-native that started dance at the age of three. She has always had a passion for storytelling through movement, and sharing movement with others. She graduated from UW-Stevens Point (UWSP) with a BA in Dance and Spanish, and a minor in nutrition.  She received the Bukolt Dance Award (2010) and graduated receiving the Chancellors Leadership Award, Albertson Medallion, and Summa Cum Laude honors.  During her time at UWSP, she had the opportunity to share dance internationally with the Arts for Humanity in Thailand program instructing dance to stateless Thai children grades K-6, as well as studying abroad for a semester in Spain and dancing at La Escuela de la Danza.

Having studied various classical disciplines of dance, Courtney found her greatest personal connection to movement expression through Contemporary, Modern, and Improvisational approaches.

In addition to dance, Courtney completed her testing as a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT), and received her original comprehensive training through Balanced Body Education.  She is the founder of Waveforms Pilates, in Neenah, WI, and owned and instructed at the studio for 5 years before selling it in June of 2022.  In April 2025, she opened Pilates Anchored LLC in Sheboygan WI where they currently reside. Pilates Anchored is a group Pilates reformer and one-on-one boutique Pilates studio. She also is a certified Asahi Nordic instructor to help bring movement to all populations. Courtney has a deep passion for dance and movement and believes in the power to transform the mind and body through these facets. Courtney has been training and teaching Pilates since 2010, and has been teaching dance and choreographing since 2006.

Courtney Anne Holcomb currently living in Sheboygan, WI and teaches out of her studio Pilates Anchored LLC. She also travels for work. She teaches customized one-on-one Pilates sessions, Group Pilates Reformer Equipment Classes, and workshops in Sheboygan county. She also does freelance dance instruction, choreography, workshops, seminars, conditioning, dance performance, Asahi Nordic, and guest Pilates instruction.

“I am a professional dance artist, choreographer, dance teacher, Pilates instructor, video dance maker, and an advocate for movement in the education system. More so than all of these things, I am first a mover.  I have a deep passion for storytelling through dance and movement, and believe in the power to transform the mind and body through these facets.  I thrive on helping others discover the fullness of their movement potential because I believe that movement has the capacity to create change from the inside-out. Our bodies can express emotion and teach creativity in a way that nothing else can. Through my choreography, video dance work, performances, workshops, and dance instruction, I aim to impart a genuine connection of body and mind, instill personal kindness to ones body, and evoke genuine emotional expression through movement.”
