About Me

Courtney Anne Holcomb is a Neenah-native that started dance at the age of three. She has always had a passion for storytelling through movement, and sharing movement with others. She graduated from UW-Stevens Point (UWSP) with a BA in Dance and Spanish, and a minor in nutrition.  She received the Bukolt Dance Award (2010) and graduated receiving the Chancellors Leadership Award, Albertson Medallion, and Summa Cum Laude honors.  During her time at UWSP, she had the opportunity to share dance internationally with the Arts for Humanity in Thailand program instructing dance to stateless Thai children grades K-6, as well as studying abroad for a semester in Spain and dancing at La Escuela de la Danza.

Courtney currently resides in Neenah, WI, and does freelance dance instruction, choreography, workshops, seminars, conditioning, dance for camera, and Pilates instruction. In addition to dance, Courtney is PMA® Certified Pilates Teacher, who received her training from the internationally known Balanced Body Education.  She owns her own studio, Waveforms Pilates, in Neenah, WI.  Courtney has a deep passion for dance and movement, and believes in the power to transform the mind and body through these facets. Courtney has been training and teaching Pilates since 2010, and has been teaching dance and choreographing since 2006.

Head shot

“I am a professional dance artist, dance teacher, Pilates instructor, choreographer, and an advocate for dance and movement in the education system and daily life. More so than all of these things, I am first, a mover. Movement is what I’m most interested in: instilling passion, desire, and necessity for movement in everyone’s life no matter how young or old. I thrive on helping others discover the fullness of their movement potential, because I believe that movement has the capacity to create change from the inside-out. Our bodies can express emotion and creativity in a way that nothing else can. Through my choreography, technique training, conditioning, and dance instruction, I aim to instill this same passion, and evoke genuine emotional expression through movement. “
